BEE YOURSELF:
As a mother of 2 girls, navigating the world of the early teens and balancing their confidence, individuality and self worth with their innate need to fit in has been challenging. This was inspired by my daughter’s school project into the alarming reduction in bee numbers on the planet.
It features our little bee hero and his world of sunshine, flowers and pollen - vital to his hive and also vital to our world.
Bees just go about their business never doubting themselves, while contributing to the hive and our world, each doing a job that only he is perfectly suited for.
I wanted to deliver some of that purpose and individuality, balanced with a sense of community.
The collection is designed to lift the spirits!
